Dr. Kemdi Opara recently distributed stimulus package to some indigenes of Obazu Mbieri Community to ease the effects of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

As early as 7:am in the morning, the compound of Dr. Opara was beehive of activities as the people who gathered in large numbers to collect the palliative materials provided for them were seen in clusters awaiting their turn. The palliative package include hundreds of bags of rice, hundreds cartons of Noodles, hundreds of litres of groundnut oil, hundreds of bags of salt and hundreds of cartons of tinned tomato were shared amongst the people.

Speaking, Mr. Mathias Amaechi (Bafana), who represented Dr. Kemdi, said that after seeing the devastating effect of the lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic Dr. Opara decided to help his community as according to him, those in the village were the worst hit by the lockdown due to their dependence on daily work and subsistence farming, so does not have enough savings.

Mr. Mathias disclosed that the benefactor has been helping the community through medical outreach and building of houses to many in the community.

He hinted that that the palliative was made possible through Dr. Kemdi Chino Opara foundation and the palliative will soon be extended to the entire Mbaike Federal Constituency.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with Gist Agrica expressed their gratitude for the gesture and prayed God to reward Dr. Opara immensely for always taking care of the less privileged.
