APCIGBO PRESIDENCY A SURE MANDATE

The acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party in Anambra State, Chief Basil Ejidike has called on the people of the state to shift their alliance to the party so as to benefit more from the developmental programmes of the Federal Government. Chief Ejidike made the call when the Management of Bridge Head Housing Estate, Fegge Onitsha honoured him as their Patron during their 25th years Silver Jubilee Celebration.

According to the party leader the APC Federal Government is running an all-inclusive administration as it extends its developmental projects to all the geopolitical zones of the country, including Anambra State. He remarked that the developmental projects of the government are not restricted to the states being controlled by the party, but rather to all the states of the country, for the benefit of all Nigerians irrespective of their party affiliation.

The Acting Chairman who noted that the performance of the APC Federal Government out class the 16- year rule of the PDP Federal administration in terms of infrastructural development across Anambra State. He therefore called  on Ndi Anambra to look inward and support the APC government for more and better dividends of democracy.

He declared that: “APC cannot continue to be in the opposition in the state, considering the good number of projects from the Federal Government in the state. He declared: “We are taking overcome the mantle of leadership in the State come 2021.”  The acting state party chairman regretted that Anambra State which was once rated first in road network has lost that glory as most of the roads are presently in bad state.  He therefore called on the State Government to ameliorate the situation.

On the possibility of an Igbo Presidency in 2023, another APC stalwart in the state, Hon John Bosco Onunkwo said it a sure project that must come to fulfillment. He called on Igbos to disregard any insinuation against the Igbo Presidency agenda.  He also urged the state government to improve on the state’s road network and involve experts in road construction to ensure the construction of roads that will stand the test of time.
