Anambra Youths in Abuja learn how to make Cake
The first batch of the one hundred and seventy-seven Anambra youths resident in Abuja to be trained in cake making by the Anambra liaison officer, Agatha Manafa, has commenced training. The training is expected to end in April next year. Addressing the trainees the Mrs. Manafa, urged them to passionate about the training so as to learn without hindrance. She said she was motivated to train the youths from her own funds as a way of giving back to the society that made her.
While promising to train exceptionally dedicated ones to the master class in cake making, the liaison officer also promised to cater for their transportation to and from the training Centre, as well as provide the perishables in addition to paying for the training.
The cake instructor, Barrister Chinelo Menkiti, cautioned the trainees to be mindful of their actions as kitchens have their own rules.
Some of the trainees, Miss Chioma David Osumenyi and Mr. Chinonso Omenankiti from Nri, thanked the liaison officer for the laudable initiative and pledged to give their best so as to get the required knowledge to take over the market.
It is expected that another group of twenty-five will resume after one month.
