IGBO YOUTH ASSEMBLY WORLDWIDE DONATES RELIEF FUNDS TO ONITSHA MARKET FIRE VICTIMS.   
The apex socio-cultural youth body in Igboland, Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide, has visited the scene of the Onitsha Market fire incident and made a financial donation to the victims of the fire incident. Those who benefited from the largesse included members of Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide who were affected by the tanker explosion incident at the Market.

The group delegation was led by its President -General, MaziIfeanyi Nwaudunna, accompanied by the Treasurer, Gbuefi Nneka and the Igbo Youth Assembly Worldwide, Anambra State Chapter Chairman, Barr Ezeife Obiorah and his executive members.
Chatting with journalists after donating the money,Nwaudunna noted that “while we were on tour of the Market to inspect the damage and loss caused by the fire, our members who have there shops in the market were really overwhelmed to welcome their President- General, MaziIfeanyi Nwaudunna and his team for a well deserved visit and timely intervention”.
While speaking to the victims of the incident,Nwaudunna assured them of Igbo Youths Assembly’s continuous support and help until they are reestablished.He further advised the victims and the entire traders in the Market to always embrace safety while observing precautionary measures as they do their lawful business in order to avert future occurrence. He urged them to be ready for emergency all the time.

Mr. Chukwumeka Okoyewho responded on behalf of the victims and others who benefited from the gesture, expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture of the association and their prompt response to the needs of the victims. He prayed that God will continue to bless and members of the associations.
